The California Physical Therapy Association’s Annual Conference is almost upon us once again! But with great buffets come great responsibility. When you’re not loading up on comped shrimp, check out some of these unique workout experiences you can only have in Las Vegas.

Aerial Pilates at Galaxy Pilates

aerial pilates

1970 Village Center Circle, Suite 5

Price: $22

Work your core and align your spine with this elevated take on a classic workout. It simplifies the experience by replacing the mat and devices like the Cadillac, reformer and ladder barrel with a simple hammock. Aerial Pilates gives a full-body workout by forcing you to maintain and improve your balance, and being suspended relieves pressure on your hip joints and spine. Plus, it’s always fun to swing.

Hike at Red Rock National Conservation Area

1000 Scenic Loop Dr, Las Vegas, NV 89161

Price: $15

Red Rock National Conservation Area

Humans have been burning calories hiking through Red Rock Canyon for at least 8000 years. The area boasts 26 trails, including a challenging trail through the uniquely cold Icebox Canyon, Triassic fossils along the Moenkopi Loop, and a petroglyph wall. Most of the trails are rated at least moderately difficult, and many are strenuous, so if you do go be sure to plan accordingly.
