There’s no better stress reliever than a good workout! From the ever-popular Orange Theory to breathtaking walking trails, these are the best ways to get your sweat on during the APTA PPS Conference in Aurora, Colorado.

While this is a membership style gym, your first class is always free! This is great to try alone or with your peers as a fun way to bond. This is not a traditional HIIT class. This is a heart rate-based interval training class. You’ll be guided by a certified coach through 5 different heart rate zones: resting, easy, challenging, uncomfortable and All Out. Your coach will tell you when to push harder and when to pull back for recovery. The goal is to spend 12 minutes or more with your heart rate elevated in “The Orange Zone” to boost your metabolism, burn fat and burn more calories.
Smoky Hill Trail to Parker Road
Location: Cherry Creek State Park
It may be November, but Colorado still has stunning outdoor trails to be experienced and the Smoky Hill Trail to Parker Road is a must see. The majority of the trail is estimated to be in the mostly gentle grade category (5% or less) but there is a steeper section at about 4.0 miles when going clockwise. Hikers using wheelchairs/mobility equipment or strollers may need assistance in the steeper section or to avoid it for safety. There are benches and picnic tables along some of the route for resting. There are wheelchair-accessible bathrooms along the trail. Don’t forget your camera!
