Just a short 30 minute drive from the PPS official conference hotel, 12 Mile Stables allows you to tap in to the spirit of Colorado. With a team of wranglers and 27 miles of trails spanning across 3,000 acres of open space you can have your very own authentic western adventure. Open year round, you can choose from 1 of 4 rides like the dinner and sunset ride or choose something more daring the like 2 hour cowboy ride. Denver is known for its natural and spacious outdoor experience located right in its very own backyard. Cherry Creek is just a short but well worth it drive from the conference center. Anchored around a 880 surface acre reservoir, the park features rolling hills, gentle inclines, and a natural prairie environment perfect for camping, hiking, and group events. Cherry Creek offers a wide range of unique activities like biking, bird watching, boating, picnicking and of course, camping.

An 8 mile loop that circles the picturesque Aurora Reservoir. While it takes about 2 hours and 24 minutes to complete the full loop, you can still enjoy the scenic views and gentle slopes without having to complete the full loop. This trail is most popular for walking, biking, running, fishing, dog walking. There is a slight elevation gain of 137 feet but many beginner hikers and casual walkers enjoy this trail loop for its ease and gentleness on joints and hips.
